Thanks Rico for the positive comments and suggestions. By the way - nice site. It was down for a while there, glad you got it sorted out. I like "where there are no bones to pick". Very cool.

A pleasure to go to this place! It's clean and light with a good range of choices without getting into menu sprawl.

Nice to get good vegan chips and its been many years since i had anything like an omelette, but the Loving Wrap manages it using yuba (soy skin)! Very clever.

My only criticism is that names of some dishes could be more helpful. For example, the term Loving Wrap doesn't really describe what it is, since it isn't a wrap, and doesn't mention being like an omelette. This is a hard one, since the term omelette suggest eggs. Loving Soylette? No Egg Omelette? I'm not sure. The Satay Nuggets aren't really what are commonly thought of as nuggets: something with batter or crumb coating that's fried. And the Rainbow Fruit Ice Cream suggests it's some kind of fruity ice cream, when it's fruit with ice cream. It's still nice - i liked the fresh fruit - but the name could be clearer.

Overall, though, great to have this place around, and i intend to be back to try other things on the menu!

PS: they have plenty of seats including comfy cushioned rows - i like!

Ah... I'm too young and too dumb. Of course, I should work for the Supreme and the world's people.

How come no one left me a wake-up call?

Hi Claudia. I'm really happy it's working for you :) Really I wouldn't worry too much... I feel that there's no 'in the dark' for vegetarians. It's just too easy. I don't even eat that much nowadays and easily maintain a healthy weight and muscle mass. I'm about to put this to the test with 6 12 hour days a week (opening restaurant!!!).

I think some people try to scare new vegetarians about things like protein and iron - which are not concerns at all for anyone with a healthy colourful (minus the red, of course) diet. As far as I know, the only genuine concern for anyone is for vegans: B12. Having been vegan for one year, I'm still researching that one as I find it hard to believe my body needs something I can't get from any animal product. One possible source is simply food with a certain amount of bacteria in it.

Much love!

Thanks for all this information! It's definitely helping me. Most days I feel like I'm walking in the dark, but I'm eating the best that I can. What I'm trying very hard not to do is substitute carbs for my proteins.

I wrote to the magazine...

Dear Economist Editor

I enjoy the economist and view it as a positive and non-ideological gift to world media. I was recently disappointed to find, in the June 29 edition, a reiteration of the old "wipe Israel of the map" mistranslation. If any one piece of recurring information does less for peace on earth it must be this one. Actually this is a simply bad interpretation of a wrong translation.

The Iranian president (who I do not specifically support) has benignly quoted a previous leader saying that the "regime in Israel must vanish from the world". "Regime" doesn't mean "state" and "must vanish from the world" doesn't mean "be destroyed with a nuclear weapon". So Ahmadinejad expressed his support for regime change in Israel. I encourage your writers to take utmost care when dealing with such important matters as this. Information Clearing House has detailed the often repeated mistranslation here.

I hope that your publication continues it's positive trend and takes proactive steps to rectify this dangerous mistranslation.
