Showing the world how to intelligently go vegan - and the Obamas ARE intelligent - would make the entire SHIFT - an ecologically NECESSARY shift - feasible, painless, and - since the Obamas are doing it RIGHT - lots of fun…

Slaughtering a Pig is actually an in depth process. It is almost impossible to do properly. A number of steps must be taken before the knife is even picked up.
Firstly, to insure that the violient act of killing does not leave too heavy an imprint on your subconscious, you must bring to the front of your mind the facts about what you are about to do, and why. Thus:
- You must look at the pig’s eyes, and note how the pig is a living, breathing animal whose experience of the world is not that different to yours. This is a type of sacred acknowledgement of the animal’s life.
- Just as you are about to end the life of this pig in a painful, unpleasant way, you must realize that you are living the same type of fleshly existence as this animal, and that you are also vulnerable to the same type of horrible suffering and death, having the same brain, heart, nervous system etc. Recalling this fact every time you take a life will probably help you stay sane.
- You must remember that this pig also had or has family, just as you have family. Just because we never hear pigs tell each other how much they love each other doesn’t mean a bond doesn’t exist. Remember that in the act of killing, you are adding emotional pain to physical pain, as the pig is separated forever from the his family.
- Picking up the knife, you must visualise that what you are about to do to the pig is being done to you. It’s only fair that you understand the nature of your act and comprehend the feelings that you are going to cause. At this same time you are going to need to think of the amount of money that this pig’s flesh is worth. You need to remember all the pigs you have killed for money and imagine that each one was yourself, killed by a hypothetical larger, smarter species, with the same knife.
- Lastly, as you hold the knife near the pig’s throat, remember that at any time you could change your job. There is no heavenly decree that you must produce pig meat for a living. In fact more and more facts about the dangers of flesh eating to our health and climate are arising all the time. What else could you use your land for? Your sheds? Would you rather work in the filth and stench of unkepmt animals, dealing in death and misery, or would you rather stride amongst a sea of green every day, in a giant greenhouse? Why are you killing this pig, and why do you think you must do it. There is no must in this world… only cowardice and weakness.
I think you get the picture. Don’t kill the pig. Eat a plant based, and live longer and happily.
Thank you guys… your dedication and soul are evident in the finished product. I know you live on planet earth and thus it is difficult to do anything really worthwhile…. but I want to congratulate you on getting it done regardless. God bless and continue.

The report’s findings include:
- Selective breeding has produced birds who can now grow to slaughter weight in just 35 days –compared to 64 days 30 years ago and the fact that they can naturally live up to 6 or 7 years;
- Up to 60,000 chickens may be housed in one shed, with less floor space than an A4 page to call their own;
- Three companies supply 80% of Australia’s meat chickens. One of the three biggest players, Baiada Poultry, slaughters more than 2.4 million chickens per week;
- Chickens labelled ‘barn-fresh’, ‘grain-fed’, ‘hormone-free’, and ‘100% natural’ are likely to be sourced from factory farms.
I know it’s better to stick with positive visions for the future, but this might just be another heads up.
(So why not start with a positive? I’ll state again that the solution to climate change is literally under our noses - when we eat. Eating plant-based (vegetarian) food we can solve the majority of the problem. We can revegetate and reforest most of the 30% of the Earth’s ice free surface used for livestock, thus absorbing the C02. We can eliminate the methane and related c02 from livestock… even use less energy in hospitals due to decreased illnesses of all types, especially cancer, heart disease, diabetes (the three main causes of hospitalisation and death in Australia and the US). Örjan Gustafsson of Stockholm University reports: 'An extensive area of intense methane release was found. At earlier sites we had found elevated levels of dissolved methane. Yesterday, for the first time, we documented a field where the release was so intense that the methane did not have time to dissolve into the seawater but was rising as methane bubbles to the sea surface.'
So, onto the main subject. Scientists in the field and in the labs are discovering a problem, one that they have been praying would not occur. The release of the world’s frozen methane deposits: decaying plant matter from before the last ice age, that is frozen in the permafrosts around the arctic, and the oceans around the world.
To summarise, atmospheric methane concentration, stable for 8 years, is on the rise. This coincides with the observation of that oceanic methane is 10,000 times higher than normal in the east Siberian sea, and the observance of “whole fields of methane bubbles” rising from the floor to the surface in massive columns, and decaying permafrost around the arctic.

With each update you have informed us of more and more good progress in the world’s awakening. Time has been gained and more people are becoming vegetarian. Nevertheless, as Mother Teresa once said, “in this life we cannot do great things, we can only so small things with great love.” By walking one step, it seems that the merciful Heaven is taking a hundred steps toward us to meet us. Is this so, Master?

It is, it is like that. Otherwise, how else? You experience this in your life already, How else can we just turn around a few degrees and then we became so wise, so brilliant, see the Light of Heaven and hear the Sound of the music of heavenly sphere, and feel such a bliss in our life when we have not meditate all that long, some only even a couple of years, or a couple of months, see the change taken in their life is enormous and incredible. Heaven does come down to meet usif we are walking up to meet Heaven’s standard. What I told you is always the truth. 
And if everyone could realise this and walk the baby steps, actually only one step, one very important step that decides the fate of our planet: that is the vegetarian step, everything else will come to us unasked. If we are merciful, we will beget mercy. The universal law never fails. We must become vegetarian All the inhabitants of the planet should heed this one and only advice that I could give with all my heart. That is to be vegetarian. Be vegan would be better. But vegetarian is already vrey good. And vegan is even the best.

I actually made this one summer’s night a year ago, with my laptop, through the night, on the veranda, while everyone else was sleeping. It was a rough night… I pretty much destroyed my head making this song, took a while to recover.
I believe that the end result is moving, so perhaps it was worth it. Perhaps not. It’s for the non-veg public… has a little metaphysical message in the middle as well.
